The session commenced with the welcome of guest speaker, Dr. Chinmayee Patil, Consultant Physiotherapist, by Ms. Sanika Sapkale, student coordinator, honouring her with memento and shawl as token of respect. The discussion began with a comprehensive breakdown of physical, social, and mental health, precisely incorporating real-life instances to underscore their significance.
She highlighted the pivotal role of proper nutrition and exercise in maintaining health and well-being. Drawing from her own experiences, she highlighted the importance of cultivating a stress-free environment for overall wellness. Her personal journey served as a cautionary tale, shedding light on the consequences of neglecting health.
A participatory activity engaged students as they enthusiastically attempted planking, with a prize awarded to the victor. This interactive element flawlessly shifted into a discourse on the manifold benefits of exercise, serving as a means to channelize energy and foster physical fitness.
