Welcome Function for B.E. First Year (2023-24)

A Welcome Function for B.E. First Year (2023-24) was organised on Monday, 07th August 2023 at the New Auditorium. The objective of this function is to give a warm welcome to the newly admitted students / freshers.
The function commenced with lighting the ceremonial lamp and Aarati. It was followed by welcoming the guests (Secretary, Principal, Deans, HODs, TPO & Chief Warden) present for the function.
• Principal Dr. S. B. Somani welcomed students and addressed them about their career in engineering and informed them in detail about the institute.
• Dr. A. S. Tale, Head of Applied Sciences & Humanities, oriented the students by providing them the essential information about academics, roles and responsibilities of first year students and so on.
• Prof. A. V. Patil, the Registrar, told the students about many administrative things such as payment of various fees, various scholarships, freeships, filling of different forms etc.
• Prof. S. V. Bhagat , Chief Warden, informed students about the rules and regulations of hostels.
• Prof. Aadesh Solanke, Training & Placement Officer, interacted with the students about Training and Placement activities and developed a positive attitude towards it.
All the newly admitted students and their parents were present for the function. Prof. H. S. Patil presented a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, parents, students and faculty. The programme ended with Pasayadan & National Anthem.
