Welcome Function for B.E. and M.B.A. First Year Students (Batch-2024-25) held at SSGMCE, Shegaon
Shegaon: Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE) warmly welcomed its new batch of B.E. and M.B.A. First-Year students in a grand Welcome Function held at the New Auditorium at 2:00 PM on Thursday, 12th September 2024. The event, attended by both students and their parents, marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey at one of the region’s premier engineering institutions.
The occasion was graced by the Hon. Chief Executive Director, Hon. Secretary, Principal, Registrar, Head of the Applied Sciences and Humanities (ASH) Department, Training and Placement Officer, and the Chief Warden. Some of the dignitaries addressed the gathering, offering valuable insights and words of encouragement to the fresh entrants.
In his keynote address, the Principal emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and ethical values during their tenure at the institution. He assured the students and their parents of the college’s commitment to providing a holistic education that equips students for both academic excellence and personal growth.
The Registrar highlighted the college’s administrative efficiency and encouraged students to take advantage of the many resources and opportunities available to them.
The Head of the ASH Department focused on the importance of building a strong foundation in the first year, as it lays the groundwork for future engineering studies. He urged students to remain curious and engaged in their coursework.
The Training & Placement Officer provided an overview of the institution’s robust placement support, encouraging students to start preparing early to excel in their chosen careers.
Lastly, the Chief Warden reassured the parents about the safety, security, and well-being of the students residing in the hostels, emphasizing the availability of facilities that support both academic and extracurricular development.
The event concluded with National Anthem followed by a tour of the college campus.
SSGMCE, Shegaon, once again reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young minds and creating a conducive environment for learning and growth.
