SSGMCE, Shegaon organized Two-Day National Level Symposium

Shegaon: The Two-Day National Level Symposium, Pursuit and Parishkriti, held on 25th and 26th March, concluded at Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering. The symposium received an overwhelming response from the students of engineering and management. The inaugural ceremony of the symposium began with the lighting of lamp. Eminent social worker Padmashri Dr. Ravindra Kolhe, Srividya Govindarajan (Hindustan Unilever, Khamgaon), and Shri. Rahul Patil were present for the inaugural ceremony. Principal Dr. S. B. Somani welcomed the guests and interacted with the students. He outlined the objectives of the symposium in his welcome address.

The chief guests interacted with the students and guided them. Dr. Ravindra Kolhe presented to the students the problems encountered while working in remote areas and the solutions found on them. He further added the necessity to go to the rural areas to know and solve the problems of the society. While unfolding her life journey, Srividya Govindarajan explained how the values ​​of honesty, morality, and spirituality are useful in life.

Many workshops and competitions like Troll by Tronics, Grand Project Expo, Squid Games, Poster Presentation, Paper Presentation, Enigma 2.0, Creative Jugad, Multisim/PCB Designing, Fun with Python, Head Start to Web Development, Android Development, How to Start Investing, Tech Talk, B-Quiz, Movie Mania, Ad Design and many others were organized. The symposium was an opportunity for management and engineering students to showcase their skills. Students from different colleges participated in it. The symposium concluded with the distribution of prizes. The winning students were honored with cash prizes and certificates.

On this occasion, the principal of the college, Dr. S. B. Somani, Head of Department Dr. S. P. Trikal, Dr. S. R. Paraskar, Dr. M. N. Tibadewal, Dr. S. B. Patil, Prof. Amit Manekar, Dr. N. A. Patil, Dr. H. M. Jha Bidyarthi as well as the coordinators Prof. Swapnil Badar, and Dr. Mayur Dande were present.
