Dr. Yogesh Kulkarni, in his session, discussed the stories of UNICEF, CASHIFY, RAIKA HONEY, ID Group, and ZOHO small startups which are now a brand. He explained how these companies became successful in spite of challenges. These people are from the same background as we are but they marked their way to success. He said,” Science is about knowing, and Engineering is about doing”. He explained innovation ranking, Agricultural productivity, Creativity, and Empathy.
He suggested students to visit different places, talk to the people, understand their problems, and find solutions. He shared the story about Shubham Shembade who had come to Vigyan Ashram. In his presentation, he said that “Work or Customer, Need is at the center”. He discussed a number small but impactful innovations which changed the entire picture in the concerned sectors. For starting a business one should have ideas. He explained IDEAS as-Individual ideas, Do Homework, Evaluate Opportunity, Action plan and Start execution.
Lastly, he discussed the facts of Entrepreneurs and invited all the students to visit Vigyan Ashram flowed by the questions and answers.
