Speaker – Mr. Sharad Rathi
Mr. Sharad Rathi, General Manager, at ApexaiQ, India, was welcomed virtually for an illuminating session. The session began with an introduction to the startup company, ApexaiQ, USA. He shared insights into the early years of ApexaiQ, detailing its journey, inspiration, and story. He further discussed the collaboration between ApexaiQ and SSGMCE, Shegaon, highlighting their cooperative efforts.
Engaging the audience, he asked a thought-provoking question: “Why did you choose engineering?” Students’ responses highlighted a strong desire to make a positive impact on lives, make everyday tasks easier, recognize the widespread importance of engineering, and gain skills that can be useful in many different areas.
He suggested that engineering acts as a driving force for personal growth. He highlighted the need to learn effectively and embrace qualities like attitude, ethics, and commitment, similar to ApexaiQ. He also stressed how enthusiasm affects how we communicate, making it an important factor.
Shifting focus to job opportunities, the audience was queried on their understanding of startup, captives, and service organizations. Responses described start-ups as vehicles for transforming innovative ideas into products that enhance lives. He then expanded on these terms, using realistic examples like TCS and MasterCard.
Additionally, he talked about the advantages of being part of a startup: understanding the whole product, building a strong base, having creative freedom, and avoiding complex procedures. He encouraged students to grab opportunities and make sure they have a solid foundation. He emphasized that success comes from knowing oneself and using personal strengths effectively.
In conclusion, Mr. Sharad Rathi’s session highlighted the synergy between academia and industry through ApexaiQ’s journey. The talk underscored engineering’s transformative role, practical application of concepts, and the significance of personal attributes.
