Shegaon: Two teams of students studying at SSGMCE, Shegaon participated in Hackathon on Smart Key for Meter Cabins installed by Adani Electricity. The objective was to encourage many young minds to devise innovative solutions to one of their business problems. After the initial screening, our two student teams were shortlisted for the final round and won the second and third runner up position.
They provided the satisfactory solutions to the problem statement provided by Adani Electricity.(Problem Statement: Currently, physical keys are used to lock Meter Cabins. Therefore, key management is a major concern as there is no alarm system present to detect unauthorized access to meter cabins.) Our teams have been awarded the second prize (First Runner Up) of Rs. One lakh and third prize (Third Runner Up) of fifty thousand along with recognition certificate. First runner-up team members include Viplav Khode, Chinmay Deshkar, Pranjali Amalkar and Pranoti Gaigol.
