The Student Orientation & Induction Programme 2026–27 at SSGMCE continued with an inspiring and informative session on “How to Be a Good Engineer”, conducted by Mr. Madhukar Jadhav.
The session focused on helping first-year students understand the qualities, skills, knowledge, values, and responsibilities required to become successful and responsible engineers. Mr. Jadhav highlighted the importance of making effective use of the four years of engineering through *continuous learning, exploration, brainstorming, skill development, and practical application of knowledge.
He emphasized the importance of strong fundamentals, technical knowledge, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, branch-specific knowledge, confidence, courage, ethical values, and social responsibility. Students were also encouraged to understand the economic, professional, and social aspects connected with engineering.
The session encouraged students to continuously upgrade their knowledge, avoid shortcuts, develop value-based thinking, and become engineers who can contribute meaningfully to society.
A valuable session that inspired students to look beyond academics and focus on becoming skilled, responsible, ethical, and future-ready engineers!
