The *Student Orientation & Induction Programme 2026–27* at *SSGMCE* commenced with an insightful session on *“Autonomy Rules & Regulations”, conducted by **Dr. Anand Tale, Head – A.S. & H.*
The session familiarized first-year B.Tech. students with the transformative vision of NEP 2020 and the role of institutional autonomy in enabling a flexible, innovative, and outcome-oriented academic environment.
Students were introduced to the B.Tech. common curriculum structure for the first and second semesters, including the division into Group A and Group B, course structure, and the integration of theory and practical learning. The session also explained the institute’s continuous evaluation framework, encompassing mini projects, practical evaluation and other academic components.
The session further covered *attendance requirements, incentive marks, letter grading, and grade points*, helping students understand the academic expectations and regulations that will guide their journey at SSGMCE.
