SSGMCE receives AICTE Grant under SPICES

Shegaon: SSGMCE’s student club “BARSA” (Business Administration & Research Students’ Association) received a grant of rupees one lakh under SPICES. The proposal was submitted to AICTE, New Delhi for the grant. The college received the sanctioned letter recently. The objective of this scheme is to energize and position the students’ club as facilitating entity for the pursuit of individual interests, creative work, showcasing talent, networking and teamwork opportunities, social experience; organization and management skills, and exposure to professional ethics etc. This is indeed great news and a great morale booster for all those involved in taking interest in nurturing talents among the students.

Now, with the grant of Rs one lakh by AICTE under the SPICES (Scheme for Promoting Interests, Creativity and Ethics among Students) the club “BARSA” has obtained much deserved official recognition. The club has been functioning for the last 12 years. The club organises many activities like debate, elocution, extempore etc. for the overall development of the students throughout the year.
