Dr. Anant Chakradeo firstly introduced himself and then started the interaction with the students. He highlighted that in spite of schooling through Marathi Medium, he learnt English. He elaborated how he went on learning variety of things during his education.
He said:
Engineering makes you matured professional and try to become multitasking person.
While pursuing dramatics, he learnt:
- How to improve diction?
- How to improve public speaking?
- How to face crowd?
- How to answer questions?
During photography, he learnt how to create frames.
He talked about different fields individuals have to get into and prepare for it from the frst year of Engineering. Develop yourself, make yourself a saleable product.
He explained that Aptitude Test is the most important test.
Take right decision at the right time.
He discussed the pillars of NEP 2020:
- Multidisciplinary Education.
- Multiple entry and exit system.
- Choice based credit system.
- 360-degree development of child.
Focus is being shifted from teaching to learning.
Huge change in assessment methodology.
NEP also talks about overall personality development from Indian govt side.
He talked about start-up culture, Hackathons and lastly said,” Be a part of future and create it”.
