SSGMCE, Shegaon to hold Alumni Meet on 14th and 15th January 2023
Shegaon: SSGMCE, Shegaon will be hosting its Grand Alumni Meet on the 14th and 15th of January 2023 at its campus. The event, which is open to all alumni of the institution (Engineering & Management), will bring together graduates from various classes and backgrounds to reconnect, reminisce, and network with one another.
There are thousands of registered alumni of the college who have passed out from here since the first Bachelor of Engineering batch of 1983-1987, the first Master of Business Administration batch of 1994-1996, and the first Master of Engineering batch of 1996-1998 who are spread all over the world and are placed in corporate world/Govt. Sector/PSUs on very high positions.
The college sends invitations to all its alumni and their family members to participate in the same and rejoice in their college life once again. The invitation is sent to all the alumni through emails, bulk SMS and is also displayed on the college website and the alumni portal. Since the college makes all arrangements for their boarding and lodging and local conveyance for free, the alumni are requested to register their participation through the alumni portal well in advance to facilitate making the arrangements.
So far around 600 alumni have already registered through this portal by now and the registration is still pouring in. Including the different parts of the country; some of them are coming from the U.S. A., Dubai, U. K., Australia, Canada, and Germany.
The meet will take place at the New Auditorium of the college and will feature a range of activities and events, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, cultural performances, and networking opportunities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to catch up with former classmates and professors, as well as hear about the latest developments and achievements at the institution.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this year’s alumni meet and look forward to welcoming our graduates back to the college,” said Dr. S. B. Somani, Principal of the college. “The Alumni Meet is always a highlight of the year and provides a great opportunity for our alumni to reconnect and build new connections,” he further added. Those interested in attending the alumni meet can register on alumni.ssgmce.ac.in.
Principal Dr. S. B. Somani, Coordinators of Alumni Cell Dr. D. D. Nawgaje, and Prof. Bhushan Rakhonde have appealed to all alumni of the college to attend the Alumni Meet 2020.
