SSGMCE Shegaon Boys Win Chess Tournament at SGBAU Zone-B

In a proud moment for Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE), Shegaon, the boys’ chess team emerged victorious at the Inter-Collegiate Tournament (ICT) held in Zone-B of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU). Demonstrating remarkable strategy, focus, and teamwork, the team clinched the championship title in the Men’s Chess category. The boys showcased exceptional chess skills throughout the tournament, overcoming strong competition from participating colleges. Their sharp moves and cohesive teamwork led to this outstanding success, bringing laurels to their institution.

The winning team comprises: Chinmay Harne (4R), Pratik Tayde (3S), Bhavnesh Thelkar (2R), Ayush Jaiswal (2N), Pavan Lakkas (4R), Sharva Kolwadkar (2M), Bhavnesh Thelkar (2R). The boys showcased exceptional chess skills throughout the tournament, overcoming strong competition from participating colleges.
