Speaker: Mr. Milan Parikh, SAP Project Manager, Consultant, Trainer

The third session of Day 7 featured Mr. Milan Parikh, an SAP Project Manager and Consultant, speaking on the topic Career in SAP. The session commenced with a second-year student introducing Mr. Parikh, who was welcomed virtually since it was an online session. Mr. Parikh provided a brief history of SAP, explaining how it was founded by five former IBM employees. He shared several interesting facts about the company’s journey and growth. He then elaborated on SAP’s current position, highlighting its presence in 180 countries, offering more than 100 business solutions that cover all business functions. Mr. Parikh also spoke about SAP’s cloud-based solutions.

The session then moved on to roles within SAP, such as SAP Basic Administrator and SAP Support Consultant, where he outlined the responsibilities and necessary skills. He also discussed the role of an SAP Fiori & UIS Developer, followed by an in-depth explanation of the role of an SAP Functional Consultant, including its specializations, responsibilities, and required competencies. Mr. Parikh highlighted the sustainability of SAP and mentioned the pilot batch at the college, where students receive SAP training at an affordable price.

Mr. Milan Parikh’s session on “Career in SAP” provided an overview of SAP’s growth, global presence, and key roles like SAP Administrator, Support Consultant, and Functional Consultant. He also highlighted SAP’s cloud solutions and affordable training opportunities for students.
