Day 6 Student Orientation and Induction Program – Second Session (20 September  2024) 

Topic:”Importance of Aptitude”

Speaker: Mr.Ajay Butwani, Aptitude Trainer

The session began with an introduction of Mr. Ajay Butwani, by Mr. Niraj Ubale, a second-year student,Following the introduction, Mr. Butwani was felicitated by Mr. Pratik Tayade.

Mr. Butwani commenced the session by posing a thought-provoking question to the students: “Why aptitude?” He emphasized the pivotal role that aptitude plays not only in campus placements but also in securing government jobs and other career avenues. He provided an overview of the essential components of aptitude, including quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning, outlining what students should focus on while preparing.

One of the highlights of the session was when Mr. Butwani demonstrated his impressive mental math skills. He invited students to give him any number between 1 and 100, and within seconds, he provided the cube of the number. After this display, he shared the technique with students, teaching them how to calculate cube roots quickly. He further engaged the students by providing a few aptitude questions, challenging them to solve these within a limited timeframe.

The interactive nature of the session kept students motivated and encouraged them to participate actively. Mr. Butwani concluded by stressing the importance of attending the college’s aptitude classes, which are offered from the second year onwards, to enhance their problem-solving skills and prepare for competitive exams.

The session ended with Mr. Niraj Ubale delivering the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Mr. Butwani for his insightful and motivational session.
