Cleanliness Drive at SSGMCE, Shegaon
On October 1, 2023, on occasion of the birth anniversary of the revered Mahatma Gandhi, our National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Corps (NCC) units came together under the banner of “स्वच्छता ही सेवा” to organize a cleanliness drive. This initiative not only exemplified the principles of cleanliness and sanitation that Gandhiji championed but also paid a heartfelt tribute to the great leader himself.
The spirit of service and the values espoused by Mahatma Gandhi have always been at the core of our organizations. In keeping with his vision, our volunteers and cadets enthusiastically participated in cleaning our surroundings, fostering a cleaner and more hygienic environment for all.
The cleanliness drive was not just an act of service but a profound gesture of respect towards Mahatma Gandhi, whose life and teachings continue to inspire us to work towards a cleaner, healthier, and more equitable society.
