SSGMCE, Shegaon, Celebrates Anti-Ragging Day and Anti-Ragging Week with Enthusiasm

Shegaon-Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE), Shegaon, observed Anti-Ragging Day on August 12, 2024, marking the commencement of Anti-Ragging Week, which ran from August 12 to 18, 2024. The week-long event was filled with activities aimed at promoting a safe and supportive environment for all students, highlighting the institution’s commitment to zero tolerance towards ragging.

Poster Making Slogan Competitions were organised on this occasion.  Students participated and showcased their creativity.

A special awareness drive was conducted, featuring posters and flyers distributed across the campus, reinforcing the message of unity and mutual respect among students.

The Anti-Ragging Committee at SSGMCE played a pivotal role in organizing the events and ensuring that the message of the week reached every corner of the campus. The committee also set up a helpline for students to report any incidents of ragging anonymously, ensuring prompt action and support.

SSGMCE’s Anti-Ragging Week not only reinforced the college’s stance against ragging but also fostered a sense of community and responsibility among students, ensuring that the campus remains a safe and welcoming space for all.
