SSGMCE, Shegaon Bags “Band Performer” in ARIIA Ranking 2021
Shegaon: SSGMCE, Shegaon has been selected by ARIIA Ranking 2021 in the group of Band-Performers under “College/Institutes (Private/Self-Financed) (Technical) category, as per a release by the Ministry of Education on December 29, 2021. The Ranking was declared on 29th December 2021 by Dr. Subhas Sarkar, Minister of State for Education, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India in the presence of Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE.
Atal Rankings of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and AICTE to systematically rank higher educational institutions in India on indicators related to Innovation, start-up, and Entrepreneurship Development amongst students and faculty. It evaluates institutions on parameters like patent filing and granted, several registered students and faculty start-ups, fund generation by incubated start-ups, specialized infrastructure created by institutions to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, etc.
ARIIA 2021 held a virtual program in which an official list from the Education Ministry was released, ranking the institutes of pan India in nine separate categories including Centrally funded technical institutions, state universities, state standalone technical colleges, private universities, private standalone technical colleges, non-technical government, and private universities and institutions.
This is an indication of the progress institute has made over the period of time. Right from its inception, the institute has been focusing on building state of art infrastructure, world-class faculty, advanced laboratory, and collaboration with industries & international institutions to foster entrepreneurship and innovation at the institute.
