Degree Award Ceremony (Convocation) at SSGMCE, Shegaon (Friday, 12th April, 2024)
The Degree Award ceremony held for the pass-out batch of B.E. / M.E. / M.B.A. (Summer-2023 Examination) programs at the New Auditorium of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon on Friday, 12th April, 2024 showcased a notable assembly of esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Kirdak (Founder & MD, Kirdak Group, Chairman, CII, MZC), Mr. Rajendra Tupe (Head HR, Rucha Group), Mr. Rushikesh Kadam (Officer Campus Recruitment, Training and Development), Shri. Sharadaji Shinde Sir (Secretary, Shri Gajanan Shikshan Sanstha), Hon. Director Shri. Shrikantdada Patil and Dr. S. B. Somani Sir, Principal, SSGMCE, Shegaon.
The event commenced with Prof. S. V. Bhagat extending a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and the graduates attending the degree award ceremony. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp and the Aarti of Shri Gajanan Maharaj, symbolizing the commencement. Dr. S. B. Somani addressed the audience first. He congratulated the merit holder students. In his welcome remarks, he talked about the initiatives taken by the college for the academic excellence of the students. Following his insightful remarks, the stage was then graced by Mr. Rajendra Tupe, who also took the opportunity to inspire and encourage the audience on their onward journey.
It was followed by the interaction of Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Kirdak. In his talk, attendees received valuable life lessons required for leading the personal as well as professional life. He focused on the importance of hard work in life and encouraged students to get ready for the challenges coming up in their professional journey.
The distribution of degrees to the merit students ensued, with each recipient being recognized individually. It was then followed by the group photos according to academic branches. Following the acknowledgment and distribution of degrees to all students, Prof. S. V. Bhagat delivered the concluding vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all individuals involved in making the event a success. The program ended with the National Anthem.
