🎓✨ SSGMCE Shegaon | Alumni Meet 2026 – A Celebration of Legacy & Connection ✨🎓
The Alumni Meet at Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE), Shegaon, held on Saturday, 10 January, was a memorable occasion marked by nostalgia, pride, and meaningful engagement between the institution and its distinguished alumni.
The event commenced with registration and breakfast, providing a warm and welcoming start for alumni returning to their alma mater. This was followed by the inaugural ceremony, graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Executive Director, Hon. Secretary, Hon. Principal, and distinguished alumni Mr. Rajiv Jawale, Mrs. Rachana Ranade, and Mr. Jitendra Joshi, who shared the dais.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment, followed by the felicitation of the honored guests. The welcome address by the principal set the tone for the event, highlighting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and alumni engagement.
Insightful addresses by the Alumni Coordinator and the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) emphasized the importance of strong alumni–institute collaboration, mentorship, and industry linkage. The program also included introductory remarks by the alumni present on the stage, reflecting on their journeys and experiences at SSGMCE.
Newsletter of the college was also launched on this occasion.
Reciprocating Speeches were managed by distinguished Alumni Mr. Nitin Wankhede and Dr. Pramod Chopde.
The event concluded gracefully with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of belonging and pride in being part of the SSGMCE family.
