On 23 September 2024, the second session focused on “Building Strong Foundation Skill and Mindset for Core Engineering.” The speaker, Mr. Pralhad Dhumal, was introduced by Miss Roshani Kukade and felicitated by Mr. Pratik Tayade.

Mr. Dhumal congratulated the students on their admission and emphasized the importance of building a strong foundation. He discussed the role of a growth mindset in achieving success, encouraging students to expand their knowledge, accept challenges, and learn from mistakes. He stressed the importance of problem-solving skills, advising students to focus 70% on practical learning and 30% on theory.

He also highlighted the value of soft skills, time management, and discipline, urging students to wake up early and focus on productivity. Mr. Dhumal emphasized the significance of internships in bridging the gap between academics and industry, along with the importance of ethics and professionalism in engineering.

He explored emotional intelligence, providing real-life examples on managing emotions, particularly anger management. Mr. Dhumal encouraged students to set small, achievable goals and remain adaptable. He concluded with a recap of the session’s key points, reminding students of their role in societal development as future engineers.

The session ended with Miss Roshani Kukade offering a vote of thanks to Mr. Dhumal for his insightful and motivational talk.
